Voice Recording Application
Voice Recording equipment is being used more and more as a major instrument for voice data records. Companies using telephonic services such as financial institutes are finding this a basic necessity to comply with certain governmental regulations.
Voice retrieval is an important reference for proof of conversation in business transactions or for analysis purposes. Used in training staff, call centers, handling of inquries, travel agent bookings, doctor/ patient analysis, attorneys, etc.
In the case of insurance companies - proof of telephonic business has also become a legal requirement.
How does it work?
The WS USB voice recording unit is placed near an existing PC and connected to that PC's USB port. The voice recording software is installed on that PC, to communicate with the external voice recording unit. The analogue lines or extensions (PABX) are connected in parallel to the existing lines or extensions and cabling is taken to the voice recording unit by the PC and connected there. The software has full searching/playing features and the recordings can be exported into wav or mp3 format (for emailing) etc.
Clients existing PC requirements:
- Minimum of 40Gig hard drive space for recordings.
- Spare USB port to connect voice recording unit.
- External hard drive or network drive etc. only if voice recordings are required to be backed up.
- PC speakers or headset to listen to replayed voice recordings.

2 x RJ11 Connectors (Telephone line jacks) One connection goes to box , supplied, and the other connection goes to your telephone, 2m cable supplied.
Once all connected pick up the reciever - see that the GREEN LED comes on. If the RED LED comes on the two RJ11 jacks are to be swopped around.

Audio jack (3.5mm) is inserted into the soundcard microphone input jack on the computer.
Important: Please ensure that the sound in your computer is functional and working properly.
USB jack is inserted into the computer USB port. This is used to activate the recording cycle when the receiver is Off Hook and ends recording when the receiver is replaced
